Pretty underwhelming, give Niko one year, next year needs to have a little more meat on the bone.
Those are the exhibition games? At least that's a huge step upAn argument could be made the two exhibition games vs. NDSU & UND will hold more interest with local folks than any of the regular-season home opponents.

I also think it’s too easy of a schedule, but Niko has to get his offense and defense implemented, tested and corrected before B1G play. It’s garbage and it’s disrespectful to the season ticket holders. I thought we had turned the page…
Well you posted this at 1:50 AM so I will let it slide. It's when BTC does his best work.I also think it’s too easy of a schedule, but Niko has to get his offense and defense implemented, tested and corrected before B1G play.
I don’t think season ticket holders should feel disrespected because they get to see the very beginning of Niko Nedved era and how he builds the program into a national success.
lol! I was tired!Well you posted this at 1:50 AM so I will let it slide. It's when BTC does his best work.
Adding one decent home non conference game was low hanging fruit. I'm very happy with the hire and hopeful about the direction of the program. However, adding a decent game (we aren't asking for a FF team!) would have been a a nice gesture for the most true blue fans and was relatively easy to do. The fans shouldn't give him a pass on this one.I also think it’s too easy of a schedule, but Niko has to get his offense and defense implemented, tested and corrected before B1G play.

MN is nothing but a trap game at this point to other programs, start winning, improve the NET, and good teams will come back to the barn.
Missing the point, me thinks. Not afraid to play Florida the defending national champion but afraid to play UST… hmm.. makes no sense

Does Niko have complete and total control over this schedule?Man that’s brutal. I’m disappointed in Niko. I don’t care that it’s his first year. Thank goodness that @Mizz game fell through last year.
Ben’s home schedule was a gauntlet last year compared to this trash.
In hoops, the coach and his staff do have way more to do with scheduling. The AD probably has reins on mandating a certain number of home games, when they can be played to not interfere with other sports, and a budget for how much can be spent on these buy games - possibly has some final approval, but the identifying of opponents is mostly on the staff.Does Niko have complete and total control over this schedule?
I know in football the non-conf games are signed years in advance.
Also wonder how much influence Coyle has "look Niko, I want you to hit the ground running with WINS this first year, OK?" I made that up out of thin air, but isn't it possible?
I can’t take anymore of this UST crap from you, placed on ignoreNot afraid to play Florida the defending national champion but afraid to play UST… hmm.. makes no sense

I know scheduling can't be easy, but "no one wants to play us" is just unacceptable. I couldn't care less if Florida said no - find a yes. It's literally your job - you have to do what you have to do to get things done.
Oh well, maybe next year.
