2nd round draft picks do get tossed around like candy and they are virtually meaningless. So who cares? Every 2nd round pick this year was traded except for 4 of them. They can pick up 2nd rounders at anytime.

Just because you've been so wrong about Lore and ARod about becoming owners of this franchise for years because you didn't think they had the money, you think it's a bad look. Give it up.

The options at C are even worse. I was hoping we could somehow afford Yabusele but he just signed with the Knicks. Mo Wagner would be a nice C/F but appears to be resigning with ORL.

When C's like Garza don't last 24 hours on the open market, you know the options are pretty lean. It's highly unlikely but maybe Beringer's defense is evolved enough to give us 10-12 minutes a night right away.

Why would we need another C when we are replacing Garza, who only played in scrub time, with two 7ft+ rookies? We don’t need either of them to give us 10-12 minutes per night.

And if neither rookie comes over this year? Neither rookie proves even remotely close to being ready? Gobert gets injured?

You're comfortable with our current C depth. Noted. I'm not...and playing Randle or Reid there is the equivalent of playing DDV at PG.

Randle missed 13 games and Rudy missed 10 last year, with a few of those overlapping, and Garza still played sparingly. The Wolves just went more small ball with TSJ, Clark, and Rob and it worked pretty well, especially against OKC.

The plan right now is for Beringer to be on the roster. Jaden also plays the 4 in smaller lineups.

Because they can pick up second rounders at anytime, they should have picked up an additional second rounder this time.

Since they are such solid NBA owners why would they value a couple of million bucks over another player asset? Why was it so important for them to do that twice in one week?

Crazy as it sounds NBA controlling ownership money starts at $5-10B and these guys aren't even close. Apparently, Bloomberg and Schmidt are just limiteds which means they don't have a say over anything unless Lore/ARod violate their fiduciary obligations, which is hard to prove.

The reason these guys are NBA owners is their lawyers crafted a tightly worded clause that bought them an extra 45 days beyond the deadline to finish raising the money as long as their docs were submitted to the league. It was on that basis that they won the arbitration.

They are a thousand times better at marketing the team and themselves than Taylor ever could or would be. We should trust these guys as much as the folks in Seattle trusted Clay Bennett.

Does Josh Giddey want to come here and win? He'd have to take less than he's worth, but the Wolves would win big with him.
