Maryland about to get a nice win on the road at Michigan, could play themselves up to the 2 line in the Big Dance with a nice run in the B1G tournament
 


Florida is freakin good!!! That was a fun game to watch down in Bama on senior night. The big sophomore from Australia, Condon, is a player for sure. Wonderful offenses on both sides and man both teams play defense. Very physical play.
 



Enjoying Arch Madness on my day off. Southern Illinois and Indiana State doing their best 1970s NBA imitation with precisely zero defense. Salukis already at 60 points before the first media timeout of second half. Both teams might hit 100 in regulation time.

When i used to work in STL, I used to play hooky and go watch the games. Always great games especially with Creighton, Wichita State, UNI, and SIU.

Salukis take it 86-85 with a putback with 4 seconds to go. Entertaining despite no defense before the last four minutes.

Didn’t know Nagy moved from Wright State to Southern Illinois.

It’s so weird how much has changed even since I was in school. I can’t help but think of Creighton as “One of us”. Just wait til St Thomas joins.

Panthers back in it down by two with nine minutes to go.
 



Pitino loses JT Toppin ((17.8 ppg 9.2 rpg)) to #9 Texas Tech and Jamal Mashburn Jr (22.3 ppg) to Temple and his team wins the Mountain West outright.

Good move by Toppin but Mashburn's Owls are 16-14.

Gotta be patient with Richard, it's hard to compete when you lose 3 of your top 4 players from last year. You can't be expected to win when that happens.

Bradley is the only team left that has beaten Drake, however Belmont today is no slouch. UNI had taken them to the wire the other day (so nice to see them gone), but Bradley is also solid enough to remove the argument of another “bad loss” if it occurs in the championship game. Then again that’s what we said last season with Indiana St (although most prognosticators I believe think Drake is in regardless). March Madness is here! Love these smaller tourney championships.

He will have plenty of suitors if he decides to move. There aren't that many college basketball players who are capable of scoring 51 points in a game. According to his bio on the UND site, he averaged 30 points a game as a senior at Bismarck HS. He's averaging 19.3 so far this season.

Although he had a more modest game, Eli King looked good too!

There was also an impressive soph in the earlier game: Isaac Bruns of South Dakota. He's a 6'4" guard but he plays bigger.

I had forgotten that I had Midco Sports. Glad I rediscovered it in time for last night's games.
 

Anybody watching St. John's at Marquette game? Little risk of a shot clock violation in that high energy game!
