Darius Taylor M____M Jersey

I never was a fan of these. I always referred to them as the "Heartbeat" jerseys because the M's look like the blip heartbeats make on medical devices. I'll show myself out now.

The Wacker era jerseys and especially the helmets were definitely the worst of my lifetime. Not a fan at all of that metallic gold they used.

Those M_M uniforms have been so universally ridiculed that they are now cult favorites. (Sort of like "something becomes popular because it is soooo bad")

For a few years there was a guy at games who had an original jersey.

The same version where Minnesota is across the front in place of the double M's would be a decent throwback, but not the double M's version.

They are one of the great achievements of now-defunct Apex One. They were trying to challenge Starter (and on a much bigger level, Nike) and came up with some wild designs in that era.

for the love of god i hope they don't plan on wearing these in game. these are easily the worst uniforms in the history of gopher football and i don't think there's a close second 🤮🤮

If these things didn't coincide with one of the worst periods of on-field performance in Gopher football history it would be fun to bring them back once as a throwback. Same with Iowa's even worse unis from the same era.

But it's not like we're getting the 1994 team back together for a 30 year reunion unless it's to troll wisconsin for the one Big Ten win they had over a 2 year period (94-95) wearing the M__Ms

I personally love these. Not as actual college football uniforms, mind you. But as fan apparel, these kind of rule. Unique yet identifiable.....while also being legitimate designs that the team wore at one point. Might be time for a new Gophers jersey.

The new ones we got a couple months ago are played out 🕶️

(I get it, there are just subtle differences between the last version and the current version)

These jerseys and hats and pants would be fine without the cardiac rhythm.

Here me out on this - throwback shoulder pads. Today's players would have no idea how to defend.

And our players would have no idea how to use their arms. We'd look like a bunch of T rexes

I can almost see the p, q, r, s and t waves of that EKG. At least they didn't appear to present ST elevation (maybe indicative of an ongoing heart attack), or depression (the heart is not getting enough O2) IIRC.

Do they sell them in anthracite? The only identifiable color of Minnesota football.
