Frank Mitchell commits

Okay, I'm going to take a stab at translating this:
Payne 320 points 194 rebounds in 22 minutes per game in the Big Ten
Frank 374 points and 361 rebounds in 29 minutes per game in the MAAC
Just adding a little context. I think Mitchell is a good fit, not likely as high end potential as Payne. If he fits well in the team concept- it may work. My expectation is that Mitchell is a better rebounder than Payne, will have more difficulty scoring and may not be the defensive presence down low that Payne is. I am happy with the add.

Here's my confusion: "Payne never once had double figures in points, but yet had more rebounds."
I read that and said huh? He scored in double figures like 13 times last year.
So, with your explanation I get what you were saying now, but missed it initially.

Further confusion..."more rebounds" on the season Payne had more points than rebounds.
Sorry, probably a confusing post. My first language is slang, so English can be difficult.

Oh my god I did miss that, I apologize to Fan of Ray Williams. Sincerely. That is a pretty wild stat Also for a guy that is really new to bball. Sorry, sorry, sorry. I will leave the posts because people should know I am an illiterate moron. It's only fair.

Well, Brooklyn
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

You’ve got a loooooonnnggg way tooo go to catch your neighbor in Queens.

The kid from Syracuse is 7-4? I didn't realize that- that's good context!
Gosh, 15 of Mitchell's 32 games were double doubles.
Not ragging on Payne at all because of course the teams played different schedules, different schemes, teammates, etc, (also one of my favorite players the last couple seasons) but PP only had 2 double doubles for the season.

Go Gophers!!
He already got a proper accent. He’s gonna be a favorite! Imagine I’ll have to get out to van cleave to play pick up hockey. See if I cant see a 6-8 guy in beast mode there.

I also was a huge fan of Payne, but if we are being honest about his stats, I am not sure we need to lose our minds. About his potential, yes we should lose our minds.

You sometimes see that with shot blockers. Going for the block frequently takes them out of good rebounding position.
Breaking down the numbers...Frank 29 blocks and Payne had 44. But, in Frank's last 5 games of the year...the money games...tournament etc.... Frank had 2, 1, 4, 2, 3 blocks....nearly half his season total the last five games. For someone new to the game...maybe he figured something out? That's almost 2.5 blocks per game...which would be like 75 for the year and excellent.

Example, one game Frank had 12 points (that considered double figures, correct?) in that same game Frank had 21 rebounds. Hence Frank scored in double figures, yet had more rebounds.
21 is greater than 12
I like it Ben - I feel the momentum
It’s amazing how one commitment can change the whole trajectory of a program!🤔

Excellent grab...now add a C, W and CG to fill the holes.

(OT: I feel like the rotating banner ad for women's panties that shield against surprise sneezes might be missing it's target audience but what do I know.)

Looks as if Frank shoots it a little better than PP away from the basket.
Far 2's he was 21 of 49 whereas Payne was 5 of 32
He was 3 of 9 on 3's
