I find writers who mention the school to be lazy and ignorant. Plenty of amazing players come from non-helmet schools and a lot of top picks are from random schools.

Will echo that Whalen was a good hire. It didn’t work out but she got some good players, fans showed up and she didn’t ruin the program. Johnson was an abysmal hire.

I’m hopeful Niko is good enough to erase those memories.
