I get what you are saying. With the exception of 2019 (and it was damn close then) you can almost absolutely guarantee that this team is going to lay an egg in 1-2 games a year, and it isn’t just in the non-conference (NW in 2023). Cal two weeks ago was a game we could have won. It’s frustrating...
If UCLA doesn’t win at Northwestern, and they might be underdogs if they couldn’t beat New Mexico, they are not winning a game. I don’t see a win on that schedule.
Not surprising to me. Tech is good. They are well coached. Hired the right guy in Key. And King is tough as nails at QB. They are an 8-9 win team. Might win 10 if they pull this out today.
Honestly, I don’t mind a game like this past weekend as long as the Gophers schedule a power 4 opponent as well. I think the schedule this year is ideal (easy, medium and power 4). We have the home and home with Cal, Mississippi State and Alabama on the books. We have an opening across 3 years...
I think this is a really big game this coming weekend. Other than the game at Colorado a few years ago, when was the last time the Gophers had a road win over a power 4 program that was wasn’t in a bowl game?? I think it has been a while. I know we don’t schedule them frequently, but yeah, I...
Yes it is. I only listen to one other, and that is Georgia’s, which is phenomenal. Three hours of history, current players, former players, prior week analysis, current week analysis etc. It’s almost better than the game. Gophers would never have that, but do an hour of quality please.
Hopefully, the Gophers are able to design an offense around him like Georgia did with Brock Bowers. I’m not saying Voss is on the level of Bowers per se, but he sure looks like he could be in that vein. Georgia moved Bowers all over the field and he was a nightmare matchup for opponents...
