Interesting. One could fly into Calgary, AB hang out for a couple of days (Banff) and then fly into San Francisco. Did that once. It was cheaper than a direct flight. The flight to Calgary was only like an hour and a half. Even just going to Canmore and back to Calgary is worth it.
Even in those cities (Baltimore?) there are fantastic places to live. Keep in mind there is a big difference between East St. Louis, and St. Louis.
I'd think if one's child was excepted at the U of Chicago they would go in a heartbeat.

Overall, I think we agree. None should be burnt down! With that said the entry way of one is accurate. To make it sound like multiple precincts were ablaze is distortion as well.
Unless the player is looking for a remote setting, there is so much going for the U of Mn and it's setting. When...
Fair, I get it. Traffic can get old anywhere. Like central/ western Europe, I'd take that problem (Vancouver's streets) anytime. I found Montreal to be more problematic streets/ congestion wise. Vancouver is close to many things. The route to Banff alone is worth it.
Now? Maybe. Like Swede Hollow in St. Paul, it has been many things at many times. Minneapolis actually used that as an example of why you DON'T want to concentrate poverty.
Anyway, I highly doubt any players will be living there. Trust me there are many places in this country that are much...
I can only think of one (The third precinct) and it was the entryway. Is it perfect? No. Much to improve on. However there are so many great things. Still a great city. That is what it comes down to. Whether you like the cities or not.
I assume you mean these? Used to be called Cedar Square West (Negative slang name "Crack Stacks")? Riverside Plaza. With that said the Red Sea is near by and home to great music and decent Ethiopian food. Other bars are near by as well. It's basically the West Bank.
I'd be interested to see how...
Makes part of Downtown Toronto look affordable. Thankfully BC Ferries are very efficient. Not the most convenient way to spend commute time, but it does make living "around" Vancouver doable. Still quite expensive. Sunshine coast is awesome!
