Not universal. There are many Penn State fans. Most I knew were in complete shock. They didn't know how to feel because it was so bizzare. Protecting Sandusky was the furthest thing from their minds.
Also of note. IIRC We Gopher fans had a bizarre issue with Gophers Men's Hockey. I don't think...
I agree that Roof may very well have always longed to be 'home' in the south. Perhaps we could have convinced him to say with a raise and a higher figurehead type role.
Edit: Anyway, it all appears to have worked out.
I don't think the Gophers were overmatched. I think that the coaches got out coached starting at the end of the second quarter. I also think the Gophers went flat when they went up and appeared to be in control early in the game.
Just a biased Gopher fans opinion.
