The difference would be with that win the Gophers' would probably be at least a seed higher and the odds of making a Sweet 16 (even if still slim) would be better if they were a #6 seed and had to face a #3 seed in 2nd round than if they were a #8 seed and faced a #1 seed.

For comparison, Mara's shooting percentages coming into this year were no worse than Carlie Wagner's through her first three seasons, but I was hoping she'd be able to make the leap Carlie Wagner made her senior year (which helped the Gophers have their last surprisingly decent season).

Wisconsin beat #20 Michigan State by double-digits so Wisconsin has more ranked wins this season alone than the Gophers have in 6+ years (36 straight losses and counting).

If she used it the possession before, Maryland probably would've been looking to foul since they still were down by 4. On the next possession Maryland no longer had to foul.

Win the dang 4th quarter. I'm sick of nothing ever going right for the Gophers in games like these and want things to end good for once.
