From 2015 - 2024 (as a starter with WAS, MN, & ATL), Cousins had 898 yards rushing in 150 games. That's an average of 6.0 yards per game and 1.9 touchdowns per year. Do you think data suggests something other than the claim that Cousins is an immobile quarterback?
(Disclaimer: I did a lot...
I still disagree, I think mobility can be increased with the right training. I'm not saying he needs to be the next Lamar Jackson, but he also doesn't need to be the next Kirk Cousins either.
Anywhere near being the next Mendoza and I think we're in pretty good shape next year. Really has to work on his mobility to come anywhere near those comparisons.
I'm pretty sure it's specific to his case.
Edit: I think with him, the big thing was that he had signed a 2 way contract even though he actually never played in the NBA. The other G League guys that went back to college didn't have 2 way contracts.
Not as big of a deal in Niko's offenses
as in other offenses... Plenty of curls and staggers to come off of, and he does a good job catching and shot faking so he can relocate for a better shot. Plus he's usually pretty heads up when his defender leaves to help at getting to open spots.
