I don't think that is correct. I believe the money goes to the conference to distribute, not the school. The BIG divides it all equally so every school gets the same cut.

I believe you are able to play in 10 games maximum if you want to apply for the waiver. I remember a while back Bohanon from Iowa played hurt the first 10 games and then shut himself down because he didn't think it was an injury he'd be able to play through all season.
