Knew JCC was really good but didn't expect them to throttle Caledonia like that. Roman Voss might be the best player in the state for his class. Saw he recently went on a visit to Iowa State. Plays QB but assuming he projects as a TE/LB-DE at the next level. 6'4 210 as a sophomore.
Yeah slim chance this kid stays home with offers out there from Ohio State, USC, Florida State and Michigan. Hope I'm wrong but I sure wouldn't blame the kid.
State tournament is set. I don't follow the smaller classes as much so I'll leave those predictions to someone else.

I think Mankato West gets revenge against Chanhassen in their rematch in the section final. They both have to get there first, but I think whoever wins that game will be the 5A state champ.
Anyone have any insight on Minnetonka? I know they lost their starting QB a few games into the season with a torn ACL, but I see they are still 6-1 with their only loss coming to Eden Prairie. They just put up 61 points on Buffalo last week. Seems impressive if they are playing with a backup QB.
Big Matchup in 5A as #2 ranked Rogers travels to #3 ranked Mankato West on Wednesday night. I think the only time these two teams have played each other has been in the state tournament.
They have had a few. I think Eric Stenzel '00 was the first and played D-Line and Fullback for the Gophers. Philip Nelson, Zack and Brock Annexstad being the only other West alums to play for U of M I believe. Two current NDSU players (Mekhi Collins and Owen Johnson). This years senior class has...
Should be a good one. I think West will try to pound the rock as much as possible to keep the ball out of Wood's hands. Their OL is the strength of the team. They have some hogs up front.
