Lindsey's biggest knock eventually will be his lack of athleticism. A QB who can run is the new norm in the NFL. Ones that can't are the anomaly. Drake should watch tapes of Big Ben, similar bodies and games, but Ben had great footwork in the pocket to avoid the rush.

I also feel like Drake is a decent enough athlete to roll out on occassion, or naked bootleg when the entire defense is overplaying for the running back. Give a defense something else to look for. Try a screen pass to rb's, wr's, and even te's.

I agree the Qb sneak should be tried. One hinderance is I think all the off line starters are 6-4 and taller inside. They need to get lower than the defensive line to get a push.

In hindsight, McConnell should have played McCarthy many preseason series. Nix played many quarters of the preseason last year. Not sure on the other '24 QB class.
