Its a fluid ranking. So yes while they were 74th at the time, the loss pushed them to 83rd. Its based off the current rankings not what they were at the time of the game.
I'd push back a little on this point. We are not super physically gifted, but to be fair we are missing the starting PG, starting C and presumed 7th man, if we add that three to the talent pool we would be obviously better in that department.

I absolutely love this team and coach. Are we NCAA bound, not likely. Are we going to finish in the top half of the league? Probably not. But missing 3 key guys, we play a fun brand of basketball, we pass well, the coach maximizes guys who are limited in some ways. Excited for the future...
