Probably but it can't be an excuse any longer. Call up Adams. Sign Gibson. Something.

Well past time to put Ober on the IL. He's throwing batting practice out there. Even Dobnak would be better.

Update now one for his last 28. Last with the bases loaded.

What Should I Expect This Season?

Sounds like the NCAA is going to moronically plow ahead with a 76 team field, so I guess a 9-11 B1G team will probably be a lock.

Swingin' Christian Vazaquez is now 1 for his last 23. The one was off a position player. But Rocco will have him back out there on Wednesday. And Friday. And Sunday. Give them both an extension!

What a sad joke of a franchise.

It's pretty much been another "total system failure." Clown show on defense. Bad base running. Mostly terrible hitting etc. Rocco needs to go. Someone should have some accountability.

I've seen talk of trading him "if you can't get 2-3 top 20 prospects". But I think there is zero chance of that. Teams aren't going to let half a season of great play erase the substantial injury risk. Plus he's on the wrong side of 30. You can probably get one 5-15 prospect and a couple...

His injury certainly didn't help, but if you consider SWR his replacement, that at most accounts for about 2 of the losses. He pitched great in Houston and we still kicked it away.

Except for 3 weeks in May, this team has been completely dead@ss for nearly an entire season worth of baseball now. Fire Rocco and give Toby G a shot. It can't really be any worse.

Paul Finebaum: What's a loss from your favorite sports team you still can't get over?

Regular Season: #1 is 2002 Illinois. How do you blow a 7 point lead in one minute? #2 is 2014 vs Northwestern in Pitino's first year when Mo Walker missed a layup that would have won it. Both games would have put them in the NCAA's IMO. Postseason: 1997 Kentucky is worse than 1990 GT IMO...
