The reason to play Brosmer is to determine if he can be QB2 in 2026. I wish they'd played him instead of Wentz. But you can't justify taking starts from McCarthy now. Brosmer will only play if JJ gets hurt.

That won't happen. Either he shows enough to be the clear #1 next season or you make him the 2026 version of Anthony Richardson and bring in Mac Jones or someone like that to compete with him.
