A 'discussion' usually leads to some resolution. This 'discussion' of yours has been going on since last season, continued through the off-season, and picked up again with game 1 this year. Both sides of the argument have provided data and examples stating their case... I, unfortunately, see no...
I get what you are saying but sometimes the 'best' teams over the course of a season are not really the 'best' teams at the end of the year. March Madness, for example, is a hit because of the opportunity for 'lesser' teams to beat the big boys.
It is entirely possible for a team to come out of...
-Bringing the ball up MAY prevent Ant from focusing on scoring which MAY hurt the offense.
-Bringing the ball up MAY make teams scheme to get the ball out of Ant's hands early in the offense which MAY open up opportunities for others on offense.

Opposing QBs are never on the field together. This isn't boxing. Head to head quarterback comparisons are likely among the most worthless stats out there. Football is a team sport.
I thought it was an excellent return for Daredevil after 6-7 yr break. You could definitely tell the episodes that were reshot after they rehired the old team. They made the series much more cohesive with the first run and much more exciting.

My post was referring to expectations at the beginning of the year. The '91 Twins were projected to win 76 games. They started slow in April and May, picked it up in June, and kept going for an improvement of 19 games above projections.
The Twins were +8000 to win the WS in '91... only a few...
One doesn't drive forward using only their rear view mirror. When I buy any investment, the literature tells me that "past performance is no guarantee of future results." Statistics tells us that "future outcomes are not affected by past events."
The Twins' chances of appearing in the WS this...
Thanks for adding the announcement. I don't think that you're getting any comments here because it was discussed yesterday on page 3 of the Minnesota 2025-2026 thread.
It is certainly possible if a team keeps stringing together long losing streaks with only an occasional win in between. The pattern below, for example, shows at least 6 instances of losing at least 13 of the last 15 games.
