I would rather Gopher Athletics not exist than see them do this crap. This is disgusting and one of the main reasons I barely care anymore. Kids are going broke and in debt for life going to college...but thank god the backup qb can buy a car with his private equity cash! The NCAA is a joke.

Cool. I dont care about the games so I dont watch. Watching a bunch of professional teams that are affiliated with schools entices me zero. If I am out at a bar and its on tv I will check it out...otherwise I could think of a dozen things I would rather do. Same holds true for basketball...

And see for me the only game I will watch is the Gopher Game. I have zero interest in the "playoff". We already have a professional football league and I can barely stand watching that... So much free time now :)

If they thought this was the caliber of hire they dont fire Franklin...certainly not mid season. Look Campbell is a good coach its not a knock on him but he is replacing a guy who was coming off a run in the playoffs. The pressure is huge and if he isnt that level or better he wont last...

I dint think Campbell be more successful at PSU than Franklin was. It would be a good hire but a lateral one.

Wasnt the defense of firing Franklin when they did that it would give them a leg up on finding a coach? Penn State is about to find out what Nebraska refuses to acknowledge...firing a successful coach is going to drag you down when you arent the creme de la creme...and PSU is not that.
