PJ is an above average coach who leads with integrity. Minnesota is a hard place to win at and it will get more difficult with the reorganization of the Big Ten. So far it has been a disappointing year but I am sticking with PJ.
I support Matt Simon. Matt has taken some hits, being passed over twice. It’s his time now.
Matt’s loyalty matches the Gophers culture.
If Kirk doesn’t get the Rutgers job, he needs to be out anyway. He has done a good job but we can do better.
I wonder how well Wisconsin’s new offensive scheme will match up with the “ground and pound” personnel they have. It may be awhile before their recruiting catches up with the change in philosophy.
Let’s see how the Gophers look in their bowl game matchup. Maybe PJ will start Tanner and give the 2nd half to Athan. It would be fun to see big Mo going after some rushing records too.
If the Gophers beat Wisconsin and Iowa this year, it will take a lot of the sting out of the Purdue and Illinois losses. The season has a long way to go yet.
Hang tough. There are high points and low points in a season and there are going to be disappointing seasons too. The trend in Minnesota...
Wow… today was a bad day for our team. Hard to envision that things get a lot better against Penn State. But who knows? A lot of season left and PJ will keep the team working hard and playing together. Good things will happen even if it is just a changing of the guard and Athan takes his lumps...
Great attitude Tyler! Bearing Wisconsin, Iowa and winning the BT West are within reach. Maybe even a BT Championship but a national championship probably not.
The Gophers are going to be in the mix for BT West Championship but not favorites. Iowa has to be the early favorite. The Gophers will get an early shot at the Hawkeyes and if they finally get over that hump, then we can start to think about being favorites to win the west.
The OC has to fit the culture Fleck has built and his conservative approach to game management. Kirk Ciarrocca or Matt Simon fit the bill but maybe Fleck has a better plan.
We are losing two quality individuals. But the quarterback situation is still strong.
Trust our coaches to put the players on the field who give us the best chance to win.
