PJ is an above average coach who leads with integrity. Minnesota is a hard place to win at and it will get more difficult with the reorganization of the Big Ten. So far it has been a disappointing year but I am sticking with PJ.

I support Matt Simon. Matt has taken some hits, being passed over twice. It’s his time now. Matt’s loyalty matches the Gophers culture. If Kirk doesn’t get the Rutgers job, he needs to be out anyway. He has done a good job but we can do better.

I liked Coach Kill when he was our coach. I don’t care what he said after he was no longer our coach; whatever!

The Gophers are going to be in the mix for BT West Championship but not favorites. Iowa has to be the early favorite. The Gophers will get an early shot at the Hawkeyes and if they finally get over that hump, then we can start to think about being favorites to win the west.

The OC has to fit the culture Fleck has built and his conservative approach to game management. Kirk Ciarrocca or Matt Simon fit the bill but maybe Fleck has a better plan.

We are losing two quality individuals. But the quarterback situation is still strong. Trust our coaches to put the players on the field who give us the best chance to win.

Get used to the idea: Tanner Morgan will be the starting quarterback in 2022. Others will play if he gets injured.
