When your best two players don’t consistently execute during an entire match, it’s tough to beat a quality team. Disappointing

I just watched the entire match. Gophers looked like a more energetic and more focused team , compared to a couple months ago. Go Gophers!!

Once again, Landfair was a non-factor when needed. Poor setting by Shaff at times. Out of system way too much. Hard to watch them this year. Doesn’t resemble the squad I’ve been following for many years.

There should be asterisks next to teams like Wisconsin. They were able to load up on talent only because of COVID rule exceptions. I know we could have done the same, but we lost our head coach at the WORST time, which made it very difficult for us. .

I hate to admit it , but losing Booth to Wiscy really hurt us. And it showed today.

I can’t figure out how she’s gone from Big Ten Player of the Year , to below average this year. Any insight?

So , Landfair is the only player on the team that doesn’t need reps? Doesn’t make sense to me. Did Hawaii sit out their best player?

I had asked about Landfair and her not playing the 4th and 5th sets of the opening night match against Hawaii. I see she was the only player to play just one set in match number two. Are we sure she’s 100%?

Is it concerning that Landfair didn’t play the entire match?Does anyone know why? What about Sydney Schnichels?

You did a good job of reading between the lines. Total positive team chemistry of all players and staff is critical to being the best you can be. Players need to trust that everyone on the team has each others back.
