Clarification: I meant they made it to set point first in three of the first four sets ,.then the last set was Match point which they were first to get to it.

A lot of badger loyalists on the Volleytalk site are saying they could have beaten us had it not been for a few bad passes. FYI everyone, Minnesota was FIRST to match point in 4 of the 5 sets. I think that makes a strong statement.

In my opinion, Team Chemistry has made a huge difference this year. It shows so obviously. Did you see how much fun Minnesota was having the entire match? Even when they lost a set they were very positive in their demeanors. On the other hand , Wisconsin …..,

Very obvious that getting rid of a couple “cancers” on the team has improved the health of the team chemistry. They are “all-in” now as a team. Great to see!

Why doesn’t she show up on the stat sheet from Saturdays match against Denver?

When your best two players don’t consistently execute during an entire match, it’s tough to beat a quality team. Disappointing

I just watched the entire match. Gophers looked like a more energetic and more focused team , compared to a couple months ago. Go Gophers!!

Once again, Landfair was a non-factor when needed. Poor setting by Shaff at times. Out of system way too much. Hard to watch them this year. Doesn’t resemble the squad I’ve been following for many years.

There should be asterisks next to teams like Wisconsin. They were able to load up on talent only because of COVID rule exceptions. I know we could have done the same, but we lost our head coach at the WORST time, which made it very difficult for us. .

I hate to admit it , but losing Booth to Wiscy really hurt us. And it showed today.

I had asked about Landfair and her not playing the 4th and 5th sets of the opening night match against Hawaii. I see she was the only player to play just one set in match number two. Are we sure she’s 100%?
