Next year losing a game like this would kill me. This year, while I hate to see it, it's part of the process. We need a full roster with an upgrade in talent. We will get it.
I'm pretty sure that the offense to go in the paint is developed, we just don't have the guys that can play above the rim to do it. Once we do it will make life for the shooters a lot easier.
Crocker Johnson didn't show up today. Just like Penn State. We need the better version of him.
Not all of it is on the Gophers though, Maryland played well and Coit was just unreal. That go ahead 3 was just off the charts difficult. He had 9-13 shooting, 4 of 7 on 3s and 7 of 7 at the line. You...
Well Willis ain't playin' so yeah. I would not trade Reynolds for Evans. No way. I'd be happy to have Evans though. But here's the good news for you Reynolds is gone after this year and there is certainly a good chance we get Evans who is now buried on the bench at NC (0 points in 6 minutes...
Agreed.
Looking back into the non-conference part of the season when we still had Vaihola and Willis and had hopes of getting Omot back, it still appeared that this was maybe a 6 Big Ten win type of squad. If at the time one would have said we won't have any of those guys and our current...
Niko is the better coach. There I said it. What Gophers would start for MSU? Maybe one or two. Then there is the bench disparity. Yet we beat them. Give Niko time and really good players will come our way. Then this is going to be an upper division team year after year.
More than any Minnesota team I have seen since Clem, this team just does what they are supposed to do on both ends. MSU tries to score on the break and we never let them- just as they were coached to do. You almost never see a team win when they get our rebounded by 16 boards- they just had...
Yep. Only 6 turnovers - 48% shooting, shot selection was fantastic. Even with the MSU comeback, we didn't just throw the ball away, it was just MSU hitting prayer after prayer. Future is bright!
