I don’t know but obviously somebody has now told him he can make some coin at a high major or he wouldn’t be passing up a Yale scholly. 6-5 and a sharpshooter works for me…Hoffarber comes to mind.

I hope we get Nolan Groves. We need more size as well. 6-8 or 6-9 guys are fine if they are above the rim guys.

Grier had an awful looking jumper. But I think the comparison is a good one. Reynolds only shot 44 threes- probably wide open shots because they defended the drive and backed off his jumper. Reynolds progression on shooting has been remarkable. FTs he went from 30 to 50 to 65 % over 3 years!

Very Grier like! Grier, for those who don't recall was not a good 3 point shooter (25% or so) but just had the ability to make plays.

You do. But he is not a 3 point shooter- he shot only 44 of them all year. However, his FG% for a guard was incredible at 59%

What you say about our program history is true...making it all the more insane that we hired a guy who had never been a head coach- anywhere- to do it last time. If we have the right coach and competitive money, that's two of the three major elements. He can get this done and fairly quickly.

It might be real. I think you are right that less than half of D1 players will get paid, but I think that on the top 50-60 teams, including us, the whole roster is going to get paid something and kids in the top 8 or 9 will be getting 6 figures. There are 365 D1 teams, the bottom half won't be...
