ya, I realize Gopher fans like shiny stuff. A 6'5" stay at home defensemen, who wins corner battles and blocks shots like a 2nd goalie might not be the right fit for this fan base.

It's all good, Brek Liske and/or Luke Vlooswyk in Maroon n Gold is still a possibility. Personally, if feel Vlooswyk is so underrated and would have immediate impact. Liske has more upside but may take a bit more time to gel in the NCAA.

If Everett wins the WHL, they move on to the Memorial Cup, which ends May 31st. If he's heading to Minnesota, he'll need to be enrolled before June 1st. Otherwise, the Ducks lose his rights and he re-enters the draft.
