In the past this could have easily turned into a Bowling Green type loss. We let them stick around instead of taking advantage of field position in the first half and putting them on the ropes right away. They did what was needed to get the job done. Impressive start for Drake.

The good news is Coyle is done hiring his new Men's BB coach so now he has time to focus on repacing our two chronically underachieving hockey coaches. The only consistent thing with our men's and women's programs - they choke and underachieve every year.

Damn, come here to see if there is any recent coaching candidate rumors, tweets, or tid-bits and all there is is a NIL sh*t show of comments.

Poor coach, average to poor recruiter, total stiff at generating interest (and NIL $) in the program....4 years of this is enough!!

Very good coach, very good recruiter, very good at selling the program and bringing in NIL dollars and Ben's tenure as HC has demonstrated that he is NONE of them. Seems like a nice guy but not what this program needs if they want to improve.
