***OFFICIAL GOPHERS VS SEATTLE IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Has EE ever made 2 FT's in a row in his career, before this??

Haven't been around in a while. Has that guy who spent the better part of last season tearing down Carlos Morris shown his face much lately?

Howie is hiding underneath a rock.

I aint a tweeter but if you'all could tweet that to ESPN, that would be awesome.

Done.

BTW......grabbed the Gophers at -19.5 last night. Easy money that I'll quickly lose on games I know less about. ;)

Just wondering if Joey is the only CBB player to shoot a type of set shot. Haven't seen that much less the old two handed one in a long time

Come on, man. We've waited 3 months to see Diedhou and you're not even going to play him a couple minutes when we're up 35?

He doesn't know any of our offense or defense...

The walk on who also just joined the team played in both halves.

Not sure what there is to lose by just throwing him out there for a couple minutes, unless redshirt is still under consideration.

Isn't it kind of odd that #30 is brand new also, and he gets a few minutes, and yet Jayjoo doesn't?

Solid game didn't expect to see Diedhiou play tonight just because he hadn't practiced at all but hope we can get another game like this Monday and get a chance to see him unless Pitino is still considering red shirting him. I wonder if Lukashewich had been practicing for a little bit though since he did get in but either way it was fun to see him block a shot right away. Good to see Konate get a good amount of playing time and have some success offensively.

On the after game on 1500 Pitino said no use to burn a redshirt if he doesn't have to.

On the after game on 1500 Pitino said no use to burn a redshirt if he doesn't have to.

He said that but that's not quite how he said it. What he said was that he hasn't seen Gaston play in practice yet and doesn't know what he can do yet. He said (I paraphrase) "what if he is totally not ready to play and they had burned the red shirt before even finding out in practice where he is at." He said that they have to develop him.

He said the other kid had had 4 practices.

I liked what I saw of Konate tonight. He shows a lot of potential and is getting better by the game.

Morris and Hollins looked great today, if they can carry that over to the Big Ten part of the schedule I like our chances.

Hollins needs to stay out of foul trouble, but yes, his shot looks like money right now. Heard the postgame interview with Morris on the way home. Sounds to me like he is really starting to buy in and understand that good shots are a lot better than bad shots. That's good.
