1. OSU vs. Alabama
2. Sparty vs. Baylor
3. Wisconsin vs. Auburn
4. Gophers vs. Mizzou

Another opportunity for Big Ten teams (not named Michigan State) to do something about the criticism (a lot of it deserved) of the conference. I would argue that the Big Ten must win 3 of these 4 to shut up the critics, but it's imperative OSU and MSU both win. The lead dogs have to deliver in the major bowls. (if OSU wins the title that's gravy).

I think all 4 of these teams are more than capable of beating their opponents (3 from the SEC). To start gaining respect, gotta' win major bowl games and win your fair share vs. the SEC. With the dawning of the playoff era, the time is now.

I agree those are the big ones. If OSU and Sparty win, that would be huge to be able to claim that the B1G took down two of the six teams that were serious candidates for the field of four. Us knocking off the SEC runner up would also be huge. Wisconsin has an opportunity to really embarrass the conference, we can't expect to be taken seriously if our runner-up and west division winner gets thumped by a .500 team from another conference. Doesn't mean I will root for Wisconsin, but this is probably the Wisconsin game where I will be least annoyed by a Badger win that I can remember.
