Was watching the Vikes game Sunday against the Jets. The CBS TV crew made repeated references to Eric Decker being a former Gopher - BUT they also said several times that "Decker knows every inch of this stadium; he played four seasons here with the Gophers."

Only 1 problem - Decker only played one season in TCF. He was a Senior in 2009, the first year of the stadium - and he only played in 8 games that year because of an injury. Great job of research.

I thought they mentioned the U quite frequently in addition to Decker at the U. I'd much rather have them say he played 4 seasons at TCF than mention us playing in the dome! How many seasons Decker played at TCF vs the dome was probably 333rd on their priority list for the game.

Not to sound too petty. But there was a small, sinister part of me that was kind of hoping Decker would catch the game winning pass for the Jets over the Vikings and he would then thrown down the block "M" sign with his hands in the end zone while also simultaneously dissing that crack Vikings brain trust of Spielman and company for not drafting him. #crazymessedupthoughts
