Last couple of years the Gophers have broken some big streaks. Beat the Huskers both here and away. Got the Jug for the first time since 2005. Won more than 4 games in the Big Ten for the first time since 2003. They also have a chance to win 9 games in a season also in 2003. Something that has only been done only once since 1905 and they've been playing 9 games or more since 1942. Two more are at play in the upcoming bowl game. The Gophers have lost 6 bowl games in a row and Coach Kill and Company have lost all 4 FBS bowl games they've been in.

Regardless of where they play, San Diego, Tampa, Orlando or Jacksonville; regardless of who they play, ASU, USC, Bulldogs, Tigers etc., they need to stop those streaks. Kill said the same thing on his show Saturday. Said it twice in fact.

Let's do it. Go Gophers!

This is a big one. There have been lots of bright spots under Coach Kill, Wisconsin and bowl games have been the big black eyes. This is our chance to play in front of a big national audience. In two cracks so far, we Masoned a late-lead away and we lost to an inferior opponent because we refused to show up for most of the game. They have both been pretty embarrassing games, and the bowl game is the taste fans get left with through the offseason. I'd like it to be a good taste this year.

I'm usually pretty good at creating streaks. My wife hates me for it.
