Hmmm this is really interesting to me...an unofficial visit that seemingly came out of nowhere when's he's already visited unofficially multiple times. I'm probably being way too optimistic, but I have a hunch that something very good could be announced soon.
 

Anyone Know if this unofficial corresponded with Jarvis' official or is Jarvis not until the later this weekend? Also was this a last visit before he head out to prep school or is he already out east and coming back to MN for this?

247 lists Jarvis's visit as Sept 5, and Nwankwo Sept 4. Nwankwo also tweeted about his visit yesterday so I'm pretty sure he got here yesterday. Not sure about Jarvis, 247 may or may not be accurate.

My somewhat educated guess is that Alex is flying out east this morning, and came down yesterday to visit the U / spend the night near the airport.

This is what I was thinking as well.

Yeah, you guys have been real cool. Been reading the blogs to check out the fans and you guys have been great. Although it would have been nice to get an "all things Jonathan Nwankwo" page. J/K

Reading through this thread now knowing who JNBball is is amusing. Glad you're a Gopher.

We Minnesotans love the local kids, but anyone who wants to be a Gopher and can play can be 'one of us.' The local kids need to get on, get off or get left.
 

Get AI and Pitino will have all the bigs he needs 2015 and moving forward along with Nwankwo, Konate, Martin, and hopefully Buggs. Could all be productive 4-year players.
 

Alex and Jarvis, what are you guys waiting for? If you want to done the maroon & gold, you need to hop on the train now before it leaves the station.

Kind of like when a 3-star signs with a blue blood, and they automatically get upgraded to a 4 or even 5 star

Legitimate question - is it normal for all of the coaches from his top schools to be visiting in a two day span, or is something else going on here?

An open period, which allows coaches to watch and talk to prospects at their high/prep schools, just began. Alex would appear to be a priority of all of UW, Minnesota, Iowa and Oregon, so it makes sense that those coaches would be out to see him right away.
