Big Ten Baseball Tourney

I think it time to get this going. the Big Ten Conference Baseball Tourney begin Wednesday.

Ohio State and Minnesota get byes.

I assume that Minnesota needs to win the tournament to get to host a regional so let's get this thing done in three games. Maybe lay a whuppin' on Ohio State a couple of times, too.

Illinois and Purdue both won today.

Minnesota faces Indiana in the 2nd game tomorrow.

The nice thing about getting Indiana on the second day instead of the first is that we don't have to face Arnett while getting Handran to start for us. Avoiding that loss in the first game is huge and this should certainly help.

Cal Eldred was on BTN and said the biggest advantage of having the 1st round bye is your #1 faces your opponent's #2. And if you win, your #2 faces the opponent's #3 or #4.
