The Gophers had only 2 penalties today (both rather weak penalties at that). That is dramatic improvement over earlier in the year. That reflects well on the coaching staff IMO.

The Cooper penalty was very questionable. He was leaning back and had his hands up when he made "contact". The interference call had to be made.
