Hard to find but here are a few. Feel free to add.
-Shortell did fine. He wasn't great but didn't embarrass himself. Admittedly, it probably comes from my hockey background but I was quite impressed, when on the Michigan fumble return for a touchdown, he tried to level a linebacker when he realized he wouldn't catch the db. He is no prima donna. I like that.
- Kyle Henderson. He was easily the best player on the Gophers D. He came to play today.
-Orseske is clearly a good with the wind punter.
-I like Brandon Green and think he should play more.
-Marcus Jones and Green both look good on returns. Jones speed on the returns was legit.
-Team never quit. Witness Bennett trying to down a punt in the 4th quarter.
-I thought Kill looked a lot better than past weeks (yes I know I am grasping at straws but he looked fine for the first time all year).
I have never seen a BCS team dominated like the Gophers were in the first half, the fact that they didn't completely fold in the second half gives me hope. At this point hope is all that I have.
PS Go Nebraska.
