Being a designer at one of the local newspapers, I get a kick out of illos.

I guess this was an attempt to put the Gophers inside the ESPNU logo. Check it out and scroll to No. 12.

I thought the USC one looked pretty damn good. But of course the Gophers one is best. =D

I first saw that when Andy Katz did his Gopher piece they aired on ESPNU. Definitely one of the better versions of the College themed ESPNU logos.

Not bad! Their current Gopher logo needs to get rid of that stupid noise. Once we start kicking @$$ in things it should just be a big gold U.

I guess I didn't notice, but that first one is definitely a squirrel. I like this version much better.

Yeah.. PSU is good (love the Joe-Pa glasses). I would have done something TOTALLY different with Northwestern, though. I would have incorporated the Northwestern stripes in there somewhere instead of a purple panther.
