Go Tennis!!
Go Tennis!!
Too lazy to look up. What's the Golden Masters?Completing the Golden Masters at age 24 is insane. Novak is the only other one to have done this and he did it at age 31. Just wild.

Late to respond. ThanksWinning all 9 Masters 1,000 Tournaments. These are the 9 biggest tournaments after the Majors, all players are required to play them unless injured, and they all have a 128 player draw.
The U.S. has 3 Masters 1,000 Tournaments: Indian Wells, Miami and Cincinnatti Open.

Good for Sasha!
Yea, the gates opened up for him this year, but to his credit, he took advantage. Alcarez not playing Wimbledon this year and I think he can beat Novak on grass, so it theoretically leaves Sinner in his way.Agreed. Very happy to see him get this Slam. He was oft-regarded as the best player never to win one, and now with that label gone, maybe he'll breakthrough a few more times. His game translates on all 3 surfaces very well.
On to the grass season!! My son and I will be at Wimbledon this year, will be my 2nd time, his first. I can't wait.

Be nice to get one of them a major!Heading into the Wimbledon fortnight, the American men have 3 legit players who can make a run to the semis or better depending on the draw: Fritz, Shelton and Tiafoe. Let's hope they carry their momentum from the lead up tournaments to London.
Go USA!!
Sounds like you had a great experience! Very cool to have shared it with your father and now with your son. Thanks for sharing!I just got back from an amazing week at Wimbledon. It was my second trip to the Fortnight (first time with my Dad in 2012) and this time with my son. Go Tennis!!
Sounds very cool. If you're willing to share, what were the ticket costs to do the queue?I just got back from an amazing week at Wimbledon. It was my second trip to the Fortnight (first time with my Dad in 2012) and this time with my son.
We camped out overnight two nights in the famous Wimbledon Queue, an incredible experience that only the Brits can pull off. Last Sunday we arrived at 2:30pm (for Monday matches) and we were already 1755, and 1,756 in line. The first 1,500 are guaranteed spots on either Centre Court, Court 1 or Court 2. 1,501 to 10,000 are on the side courts. On the first day we wanted the side courts anyway, better matchups. We saddled up to Court 4 the entire day and sat front row right next to the coaches box, we got to hear all of the coaching, it was great.
On Wednesday we got in the queue at 11:30am for Thursday matches. We ended up being 349 and 350 in line so secured Centre Court seats. The seats were 4 rows behind the Royal Box, a day in which Princess Kate was there.
We ended up some great American wins: Taylor Fritz, Tiafoe, Anisimova over Keinin in 3 long sets, we saw Barrentini over Fils in an incredble match, quite a few great doubles matches, etc.
For non tennis fans, Wimbledon should be a bucket list, in particular camping out overnight in the queue. It really added to the whole experience, what a week!
