Maybe but Evan Flood use to crystal ball everyone to Wisconsin, it got to the point where fans got on him for it, got really ugly on there 247 board when Koi picked the gophers

I don't follow recruiting closely but have seen several say the Gophers weren't recruiting him hard anymore. Could be true or could just be fans coping with the miss.
 







The talent is there, only saw his games in the state tourney, but he didn't stick out like I thought he did the previous year. Again very small sample size.
 







Just doesn't feel like that big of a deal in todays environment. How many guys stay 5 years anyway. Win some, lose some, but you will always have other options.

I think brad davison playing at Maple Grove and coaching at wisconsin is the most likely factor.
The tweet was belief, trust, development, family ... seems like something you'd say if you were listening to the nut man.

We don't have that many opportunities to be in the running for that elite of an athlete. We will give the scholarship to somebody but it likely won't be somebody who reminds you of the Baylor players from last year's tournament.

It’s hurts, he is a great athlete. Wisconsin success is what we hope to build, hopefully soon!
