I don't think so.

I think people who come to this thread like the ability to complain about things so far in the past (ie. more than 10 years ago) that they are irrelevant, simply because it gives them something to complain about.

Yeah equal. Co-losers. Any "tie breaking" is completely random jibberish.

As for limiting to only caring about the last 10 years, I think you will be on an Island of 1.
Maybe

But I'm going with it.

Detroit is at best the same "loserville" as MSP, but far more likely they are actually worse

Wings>>>>Juicy Lucy’s

I would have agreed with that in my 20s and probably through my 30s. Somehow my palate has changed, I'm not even big on the smell of traditional Buffalo Wings anymore.

I'll take the Juicy Lucy from Matt's Bar, please. Grilled onions and a half basket of fries.

I like Detroit's odds to end the futility sooner than MSP in 3 out of 4 sports.

End of September 2024, Title starved Minnesota Sports fans would have been pretty thrilled to know that both Sam Darnold and Karl-Anthony Towns would be World Champions in less than 2 calendar years.

Oops.

Maybe if you stop counting, it will happen then.

Danny B is on the radio reminding mn fans that a person may lose their family if you fail to keep your pants up. The more you know.

Baseball is out. English Premier League dogs—t model means only the teams that spend big $$$$$ can ever win (or make) the WS. Now maybe that model will collapse into a valid model (meaning hard salary cap) sooner than later.

Pistons were supposedly #1 seed in the East. LOL no chance. Knicks and last year Pacers if they get back to that, plus the other Eastern teams. The East will be no cake walk, LOL for Wolves fans who think that will solve something — no chance.

Vikings objectively are superior to the Lions in every way, including 2025 and certainly will be in 26.

Wild are light years ahead of Red Wings (this was obviously the 1 of 4) And yet I wonder truly how close they were with the Ave getting crushed and then VGK losing to boot.

I don’t think so friend. MSP will have a title in the men’s big 4 before Detroit does. Mark it, dude

Way off.

The division is 100% up for grabs. I still like my bet(s) on the Vikings winning the division at the odds I got at the time, which have gone down a fair amount since.

As for the Lions, I still think Campbell is a complete meathead and until he does something without coordinators like Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn, I have a hard time giving the Lions great odds at making noise in 2026

Up for grabs is not the same thing as all 4 teams having a 25% chance to win.

At +490/Vikes vs +150/Lions that's a pretty massive disparity. I'm not criticizing your action though. That juice is worth the squeeze.

LOL

"Sportsbooks have always correctly predicted the teams that win NFL divisions that year" - Ope3

The unfortunate thing is that NHL, NBA, and NFL ... we have good teams, playoff level teams .. but seems like we're still two full tiers below the top title contenders.

Are the Wild the best shot? Because I thought the Avs would just waltz to the SC after they dumped us ... but then they got swept by .. Vegas?? And then Vegas got dominated in the Cup.

I got the Vikings at +725 when I first hit it. Since the number has moved down consistently, I haven't even looked at it.

The local NFL Team did not qualify for the playoffs in 2025. Eliminated with 4 games left to play.

Failed to qualify in 4 of the past 6 seasons.

Half game from qualifying in 25, and would've won the first round playoff game at Chicago rather than Green Bay pathetically choking.

They are a playoff team in 26, which is what I was talking about, if Murray has even a pulse.
