All Things 2026 Minnesota Twins In-Season Thread

Plus that challenge, WTF? Up 7 in the 6th, save them secure outs while in the field.

Plus the entire baseball was in the Zone.

Uffda.
Then Larnach fails on a challenge up 6 in the Top 9, nobody on. That's just befuddling.

At least his was close, but still...Uffda.
Twins Win!

Fascinating numbers

8-2 through 7 innings

Going for second straight series win against a playoff team from 2025

1 game out of first
Really good W today. Looked like it was going to be a quick appearance for Bradley but he got out of the 1st giving up only 1 run.

The bats got going against a HoFer. Nice to win a series on the road against the defending AL Champs.

Great game synopsis.

that’s the kind of jam that might have sunk him previously.

Fun to see him grow ands figure out how to work through it, even when he wasn’t controlling the zone, as well as prior starts.

And to do it on the road; I thought after Friday night, we might have the wheels mightfall off, but they’re scrappy-doing it😃.

Easy team to root for and great to see a journeyman like Gray, seize a chance to play more consistently and be a contributor.

It’s a great feeling when you can’t wait for the next tilt😊

Just for fun I looked up the last Twins’ pitcher to win pitcher of the month and per ChatGPT was Liriano in 2010 as I though Taj might have a shot, until I saw Soriano already has 3 QS with an ERA of 0.45, but it’s a great neighborhood to be house hunting.

Derek Shelton has a Pearl Jam poster in his office. Much better vibes than Phish fan Baldelli at least.

I would like to point out that the Twins were 3-6 when I made this astute observation and have now worked their way to 9-7.

2nd best record in the American League.

Oh, I'm still Alive, yeah!

Tied for first as the Guards got spanked 13-1

If the playoffs started Monday, the Twins would be the #1 seed in the American League.

That’s amazingly hilarious.

Another fun fact-

The 9-7 record that’s tied for the Twins’ fourth-best through 10 percent of a season in the Target Field era (since 2010).

Yea, who are these guys? I still expect the wheels to fall off due to the bullpen, but they are doing this with very little production from Buck and Keaschal.

It’s nice to see them playing good baseball in April. They are usually such notoriously slow starters this month.

Perhaps March is the new April for the Twins. That would be fortunate given there were only 4 games scheduled for that month, when they posted a 1-3 start.

The juggernaut can not be stopped 🤠
One important note, I think, is that when you’re on a heater like the Twins are now, the last thing you do is mess with the club’s vibes; I don’t expect any roster moves except for injury.

I really like Molitor in the Broadcast booth. Caught a large portion on the radio yesterday, on TwinsTV tonight.

I'm not sure if the storms will stay south, but regardless I am glad they got 5 innings in for an official contest.

Good times, bad times I still expect the bullpen shuttle from St Paul to Minneapolis to continue.

That's just MLB standard operating procedure.

Congrats to Byron Buxton who just became the All Time HR Leader at Target Field. #85.

He passed Max Kepler.

7-1 streak is not standard😎

Be careful lest Jobu puts a hex on your putter

I did a Major League / Bull Durham double dip this weekend as they were playing back to back on some cable outlet.

While the Uecker bits still crack me up in ML, I think BD holds up much better. It was a higher quality film to begin with.

The "Lollygaggers!" scene gets me every time.
