All Things 2026 Minnesota Twins In-Season Thread

Hopefully Culpepper and Keaschall change this, but has any organization been worse at getting their top hitting prospects to pan out than the Twins? Just 3 years ago Lee was ranked ahead of Royce Lewis as the Twins best prospect.
They’ve been so good at developing prospects in the minors but then do little to nothing after being called up.

They need to call up Emanuel Rodriguez or at least Allan Roden and end the James Outman experiment ASAP. There's nothing there. 4 ABs with runners in scoring position tonight. 4 strikeouts. He can't hit Major League pitching period.

And get Culpper up for Brooks Lee too.

The Falvey regime will go down as adept at developing AAAA baseball players.
There is still plenty of optimism with the latest picks, but man, the 1st round picks under that regime are not real impressive.

Skeeball gets ruffed up in the 5th💪

Cy Young called, he wants his awards back😎

Taj Mahal answers the call😃

We thought it was maybe happening today as Rodríguez was scratched tonight but he is just sick.

I think a change or two will happen sooner than later. Someone always gets hurt eventually.

Derek Shelton must be a bonafide member of the Pearl Jam Ten Club.

That's a different poster from the one I spotted last night from another angle in the office.

In the article about him and his transition, he was very complimentary regarding both pitching coaches, Maki - who he said helped him simplify his mechanics and LaTroy -who he credited with teaching him about the art of pitching.

Interesting that our two best starters now came from the Rays, they do a great job developing pitchers, but aren’t infallible.

Twins currently T2.

Would like to see the number of people that actually showed up. Better start lowering prices.

The pitching match-up looked good, and the $2 Beers were enticing along with $1 Dog Day. Then I looked at my Weather App and said, "eff that".

If the Twins had been coming off a multiple WS titles and predicted to be a contender in 2026, no snowball's chance in hades I would have made it to Target Field last night.

I don't think it's a price issue. Even the season ticket holders who already paid aren't showing up for 30 degree games. If you're a single game ticket buyer you're waiting until better weather/week-ends etc.

The only thing worse than freezing your ass off playing a baseball game in MN spring, is watching one.

My senior year we had snow and ice on our field till the middle of April.

RIP to a great player, manager, and mustache.

He was 😎. Looked like a hard nosed second sacker.

No batting gloves right?

What a great infield.
