Yikes, Otz has been very good at ISU. Wonder why he was "meh" at South Dakota State

I wouldn't say he was "meh" at SDSU at all. Two conference titles and two NCAAT appearances in 3 seasons. Managed to keep Mike Daum there for 3 seasons.

In this current era Mike Daum is not sticking around sdsu

Dusty May and Ben McCollum popping up as candidates in Chapel Hill

Mind you, this is just a rumor. Anyone can start a rumor.
Otz going anywhere would surprise me. He likes it there and has a low pressure setup. I guess if he didn't think he could get to Final Fours and have a chance at a national championship. But he's done very well from the beginning.

He's saying what has to be said, whether that's how it plays out...

He might very well like it in Ame$, but Chapel Hill offer$ a lot of thing$ that Ame$ can't match

What a disaster hiring that creep would have been for the Gophers.
Would have been gone in a year anyway. He's tied to an administration from McNeese and they are all at LSU now.

McCollum is a winner and an excellent coach, but he seems like a weird candidate at UNC.

Plays a boring slow style of ball and has zero history coaching or recruiting at such a high level

Sounds like they wanted to bring back Cowboy Will Wade last year but apparently the buyout for McMahon was significantly higher. Also some boosters held back NIL hoping that McMahon would fail because they wanted Will back. Definitely a scummy move.
