I can truly say I’ve never seen a team with this much care and support for each other. I went on Instagram and viewed several interviews with starters and also bench players. If you haven’t seen these interviews with Sophie, Tori, Amaya, and Mara , etc , I encourage you to do so. These young women are the perfect example of the concept of true TEAM. The culture Coach Dawn has created is amazing! Coach will be very picky with recruits and transfer players because it will take special players to be a good fit with this group. In order to compliment the chemistry of this team future players will need to be totally unselfish and supportive of others. Please search Instagram and watch the interviews.

This has been so fun to watch. It is also so important. The bench has been fantastic. I sat behind the Ole Miss bench and it did not have near the energy or positivity the Gophers did. When the star player fouled out, I did not see her cheer much if at all.

That’s cuz Cotie had just made the cash money gesture and was 2 busy pouting on the bench. On a positive note I watched the interviews and this team seems 2 genuinely care about each other. I also believe this good energy contributes 2 us having a good retention rate 4 our players.

Just my opinion, but the last Gopher team that had chemistry like this featured two stars, Whalen and McCarville, and a collection of solid role players.
