All Things 2025-26 College Basketball Coaches Fired/Hired/Retired Thread

Oh my. I guess I have not seen many (any?) non-Gonzaga WCC regular season games in the past decade. No Tournament appearances either, so a bit off my radar.

The played the Gophers actually back on 11/28/25 in Palm Springs, but I missed that defeat being at the Bank for the Axe football game.

Gophers also beat them in Vancouver in 2018. Vaguely rings a bell.

Actually correction, the Gopher-Santa Clara game was Black Friday, day before the Axe football game.

I did miss it though. Had it on DVR, saw they lost and never watched it.

Insomnia provides the impetus for seeing 10:30 games between Santa Clara and San Francisco.

🤔 Not sure he’s that kind of guy but the whole world is being turned upside down.
He hasn't been. But it's a new world. Even being in the "new Pac 12" it will be hard to ever win a title at Gonzaga now.

I actually think playing in a more competitive conference will edge it towards easier to win an NCAA Title.

Previously after Christmas, they just waltz through their games without being tested.

Presumably, more revenue will help too.

I'm talking the NIL or lack thereof.

Gotcha. I think Gonzaga is holding their own in that aspect, but true that might not be good enough going forward.

Carl Pohlad is a 'Zag alum. Maybe the family throws the Bulldog hoops program a bone.

Ah ha ha ha ha ha

That’s an Air Jordan brand jumpsuit, so he’s ready.

Andrew "McLovin" Perloff somehow found the same bibs & shirt combo and wore it as his Halloween costume once on the Dan Patrick Show.

I thought it was one of the greatest next level sight gags.
