The first 55 years of my life, 2 extremely unlikely achievements I thought I would never see were Indiana winning the Rose Bowl (much less the National Title/CFP) nor Nebraska advancing to the Sweet 16.

If somebody had told me both would happen in the same season in my lifetime, I would have had 2 possible reactions.

- Great I am going to live to 200+ years.

- The "somebody" was hallucinating on mushrooms or sumthin'.

I’m not sure how that would help me today. I’d have to stay up to 3am to catch up on everything. There’s 6 games after 4:00, with the last one ending around 11:00.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that it happened now with NIL and Revenue sharing. There were still some first round upsets and some very competitive mid majors but I just don’t think we will see too many making the sweet 16 anymore.
