Top 10 TV markets this season for men's and women's national basketball game telecasts, per Nielsen (#9. Mpls/St. Paul)

I wonder which networks this includes? Just the 4 over the air broadcasters that (could) have national games? There’s so many games on so many channels (plus streaming platforms). Does Nielsen include the BigTen network and other cable channels? I’m just curious what the Twin Cities are number 9 for watching.

It includes cable I'm sure. Not sure about Peacock etc. It would be a feat to be top 10 in broadcast only since the Gophers haven't had a game on CBS/Fox/ABC/NBC since at least 2020. They haven't had a regular season game on CBS since 2011.

If we could keep more of the NBA/ WNBA talent to stay in MN we would be highly competitive. I don’t think most basketball fans know all the high level talent we have in the state.
