All Things 2025-26 Other College Basketball Games Thread

Drake somehow extends their awful awful season and avoid ending on a 10 game losing streak despite starting the conference season 6-5. They take on #1 26-5 Belmont tomorrow. Interestingly the Bulldogs only lost by 2 at home and 12 on the road to Belmont this year. Wouldn’t be shocked if it’s closer than most expect (but also wouldn’t be surprised by a 30pt drubbing either). March has arrived! Can Drake keep their conference tourney championship streak alive?… no the answer is no.
Who were you expecting to do the drubbing?!?! :ROFLMAO:

If there's an argument to be made that Miami (OH) doesn't make the tournament without winning their conference tournament (an argument I disagree with, by the way), then there will definitely be an argument against Belmont deserving an at large bid.

Brennan Rigsby made a rare start for Radford and scored 15 points last night in their conference tournament game. Radford lost anyway and so that's likely Rigsby's last college game unless Radford ends up playing in the CBI.

Update: My bad! That wasn't a conference tournament game and Radford is playing in their conference tournament game tonight so, for now, Rigsby college career lives on.

VERY intense game in Athens. Miami (OH) up 3 at the under 8 TO. Miami has been whistled for 3 technical fouls and a flagrant foul. The pressure of an undefeated regular season might be getting to them.

Miami holds on 110-108 in OT. Fun game to watch, almost got ugly at the end as Miami started taunting Ohio's student section and some of the Bobcat players took offense.

Didn’t see the game but taunting the home teams student section in a game that sounds like possible genesis of a bar fight, seems like a bad idea. Losing on the road someplace 15 years in a row sounds positively Gopheresque.

Miami should be in regardless of their conference tourney. IMHO.

It was a good no call too. Hurley has quickly become very unlikeable.

Some pretty heated situations at tournament games lately.

Tommies go down to Sue in a pretty exciting finish. Couple of bad turnovers by each team in crunch time. A brutal free throw shooter for UND makes one of two with .1 left. All North Dakota Summit League final tomorrow.

Nice to see Eli King succeed at this level.

Oregon blows a huge lead. Down three with about 12 seconds remaining. Dude hits a three and gets fouled. Back up one. Washington ball.

Come on, Oregon! Get one for the gipper.

Booyah! Oregon pulls one out of the fire.....just like the Gophers.
