All Things 2025-26 Other College Basketball Games Thread

It appears the Matt Ruhle has taken over coaching duties for Nebraska basketball

He’s a decent coach/builder, but nowhere near good enough for UCLA to put up with this crap. I’m calling a coach change at UCLA. If you’re gonna have Bobby Knight frequency meltdowns you need Bobby Knoght results.
His buyout is $22.5 million. UCLA doesn't have $$.

I watched a few minutes of MI vs Duke and came away unimpressed by the offensive scheme of both teams. Seemed like playground BB!

I have to agree, but they both are 2 of the best defensive teams in the country.

Seems like that’s what 90% of teams run now, just one on one or maybe a pick and roll. Mostly they are relying on their players individual talent to score. I think it’s probably seeped down from the NBA. To me that’s what makes Medveds offense so enjoyable to watch with all the screening, movement, and cutting.

To add to Minnesota's troubles for this Tuesday's game against Michigan, the Illinois loss means that a Michigan win over Minnesota means they secure first place in the B1G for the season.

Remember when Micah Shrewsberry was a hot coaching candidate and we longed for him to take us out of the Pitino years? I’m watching the Duke-ND game and see the Irish are 12-15 (soon to be 12-16 since Duke’s already up by 20 with 8 minutes left in the first half) this season, and his career record is 77-84 (40-53 at ND). Can’t believe he’s got much longer in South Bend and may be one of those guys who has to take a step down to a small D1 or go back to being an assistant.

36 minutes and 50% of the points have come from michigans bench

We got 6 minutes and zero points from our 1 man bench

Can't say I was heartbroken, but Indiana got screwed tonight AT HOME vs. Northwestern. Devries got absolutely hacked attempting a game tying 3 pointer and no call. Should have went to the line with a chance to tie the game.

Interesting nugget.....Martinelli has never lost to IU in his career at Northwestern.....

IU and the Ben Johnson MN teams made Martinelli look like Larry Bird.

That one surprises me, he was pretty good a Penn St. I wonder if some of these guys aren’t adjusting to the new transfer and NIL era that well. I look at Cooley who’s struggling at Georgetown when he use to have Providence in the tournament every year, or Thad Matta who really hasn’t done anything at Butler.

Can't think of guys name but his PG at Penn State was an absolute stud. Helps to have talent
