Bracketology: St Thomas #14 Seed as of Jan 2026 -- NCAA Tournament

Finn please let the ultimate competitor Niko know… I know you are well versed..

Deuteronomy 3:22

Do not be afraid of them; the Lord your God himself will fight for you. Play the Tommies…
For that game he'll put Matthew 16:23 on the uniforms.
"Get thee behind me, Satan."
That's what Jesus said to the "first pope." 🤔😅

Listen how loud that UND crowd was, sounds like Wisco in Williams arena.... UND has a good thing going and could get that bid this year

13-1 North Dakota State has clinched the Summit League regular-season title. St Thomas is in 2nd as of today.

Summit League Tournament is March 4–8, 2026 with a punched ticket to the big dance.

No guarantees in the Summit, that 8th seed has beaten the #1 seed before. NDSU, St. Thomas, and UND all have a decent shot at the title. Not used to seeing SDSU this far back in the standings

Yes it is, always thought it gave SDSU a little home crowd advantage, although Vermillion isn't too far away either.
The mange don't show up. It's a big SDSU crowd advantage. Men suck though so we'll do what kind of crowd the Jacks get. Will the Tommies travel? They struggled in St Paul to draw. Do their alumni know how to get to Sioux Falls?

I read that the first sell out of the new St Thomas arena was the Rosemount vs St Thomas Academy boys section hockey final last week.

The Tommies really whupped up on NDSU last week. 84-62, but it really wasn't that close.

Either team could win the tournament. North Dakota is also pretty good, and Denver is sneaky - they lost to the Tommies and Bison early in the season, but beat both of them late in the season.

If the Bison and Tommies meet in the final, that'll be appointment TV. Sorry if I missed it, but it'll be on TV, right?

SDSU and St. Thomas play tomorrow late. Should be a decent matchup as SDSU will be hungry, if I were a betting man I'd lean Tommies, but SDSU won't go home quietly.

Who are these two teams you speak of? 🤷

Oral Roberts battled to no avail, losing to NDSU 76-65 in a game that was never really in doubt.

SDSU put up a good fight for the first half, but the Tommies pulled away in the second for an 80-67 win.

That arena in Tumbleweed Gulch - I mean Sioux Falls - looks pretty nice.

Conference tournaments heating up. Denver 3.5 point favorites over UND tonight. A few UND players from MN we could have used this season

3 of 3 on my Summit tourney picks so far. Going out on a limb a little bit tonight. Taking both of the lower seeds, #5 Omaha and #6 Denver. Just a hunch (I'm wrong a lot, though!), but I think Denver blows out the Fighting Sioux.
