If he can hang around, the veteran league minimum is north of $1 million. Get his MD with no loans and start a practice. Not a bad path.

Practice squad pays less (2025 season had $13,000 per week minimum) and if he ends up there he still gets to hang out in the QB room and build up cred as a future coach or he can just bide his time until he decides whether to pursue a medical career. Of course, he has to make a practice squad to do that and nothing is guaranteed.

It sounds like the Vikings are going to pursue a veteran QB as the primary back-up (or perhaps starter) and that will have a ripple effect on Brosmer's future.
