Black Monday NFL coaching firing thread

I guess the race is on for Kubiak.

As I've said before, at least this is my opinion; the Cardinals have a much deeper roster of young talent, and if the WANT, probably a pretty functional QB in Murray although Murray could be on his way out of town. The Raiders probably have a lot more to offer in terms of the #1 overall pick, more cap space, better owner (yes, I said that), MUCH better facilities, better tax situation.

My guess is if it's even close, Brady can swing the needle in the direction of the Raiders. I guess we'll see

I'm going to guess that the writing is on the wall that the Raider's HC is likely Klint Kubiak's job to lose. And maybe a year or two early for the young guys like Davis Webb and Grant Udinski

F*#K.... The Cardinals, continuing to do Cardinals things...

Being a fan of BOTH the Cardinals and Raiders plus Minnesota sports is a choice.

Is Kubiak going to turn down both? Perhaps Jonathon Gannon to Vegas and Pete Carrol to Arizona....

Evero would be an interesting choice. As I recall, he's been in the mix in previous years so I would imagine he's had some good interview experience and he seems to know his way around the Defensive side of the ball

Not really sure what any of that is supposed to mean so we'll just leave it right there I guess... 🤷‍♂️

Twitter/X is definitely having a good time with this situation, always entertaining to say the least.

Interesting article in The Athletic on Brady’s dual role and what The League thinks about it, with a couple of juicy quotes below.

Said an AFC defensive player: “If he's getting information and sharing it with the Raiders, so what? They sucked anyway.”

Or, as an NFC defensive veteran, who seemed a bit agitated by the question, put it: “The Raiders f---ing suck. How is it helping with that? What are we talking about?”

Cardinals fans are at least having some fun with knowing their franchise's leadership and ownership is likely the worst in the league.

I'd say this is probably about dead on. If there isn't news of someone else being hired in the next day or so, Kubiak is the guy for the Raiders

Aaaaaaaand, the Cardinals fall back to Rams OC Mike LaFleur as their HC choice (after Kubiak gave them the Heismann).
