Some of his best players, even this year, are the "core" guys he brought over form JMU. No prima donnas. Played with a chip on their shoulders. Cig is going to get another good (great?) transfer QB this year, but I think he is going to lose that JMU base--which I believe was a unicorn assemblage of under-rated and unrated talent. He's a great coach: team prep is incredible, no early game dithering, always agressively presses his advantage (whatever it turns out to be) in every game. But that special group of JMU guys whose shoulders he rode into town on are drifting away. He might come back down to earth a bit next season. Or maybe not. We'll find out.
