Yeah, I don't think people realize that even though we're adults, we're still benefiting from a lot of consumer protections.

To those who think they are smart and don't need them, well, be glad they are there for your grandparents and maybe parents then.

It would be cool to see Georgia become the second best college team in the state. Georgia Tech has been up and coming recently....

Yep, they just had their version of our 2019 season in Year 3 of the current coach's tenure. Unfortunately did not get the bowl win but still better than where they'd been since the early 90s.
 

Apparently he was already working out with Clemson and taking classes. And isn’t the portal closed? What are we doing here?

It is too bad that seems to be the way of the sports world now. The NBA dunk contest has had to prop up a g League player for years because no big name player wants to do it and risk injury, all star games are watered down, even the Olympic teams were watered down for a stretch. When the money skyrocket the mindset changed. Where are the ones that want to be the best and want to prove it?

I don't blame these college kids for trying to get that payday that most will never see again. It does make things a mess though.

Not sure what to make of this... Hayes didn't do much at PSU last year, but Nebraska doesn't have a RB with over 150 career rushing yards on their roster.

He was a 4 star super high rated RB out of HS. If MN signed him we would be head over heels about him.

He was not a super high rated out of HS (429th). The Gophers signed three guys in the portal this year that were rated much higher than him out of HS. I'm sure people would be excited to get someone like Hayes but "head over heals" is a bit hyperbolic.

247 had him as a 3 star. He was a composite 4 star but there were 477 composite 4 star players in that class. He was towards the bottom of that group.

I'm not trying to slam the kid or anything, he'd be a good player to land. But acting like he's the type of recruit the Gophers aren't already landing is not accurate.
